Demand for Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors at the AGO has been unprecedented. With over 150,000 advance tickets booked, it’s no wonder the exhibition has been heralded by Maclean’s as Toronto’s “hottest ticket.”
We’ve heard you loud and clear! More people want to see this fantastic exhibition from one of our greatest living contemporary artists. It’s why we have decided to extend our hours during the exhibition’s final two weekends (Thursday – Saturday) until midnight! On May 17, 18 and 19, and May 24, 25 and 26, you’ll have another chance to experience Kusama’s immersive Infinity Rooms, mesmerizing paintings and playful sculptures.
All advance tickets for the exhibition have been booked and the daily rush ticket line is now the only way to buy tickets for Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors. Rush tickets go on sale Tuesday to Sunday at 10 am at the AGO box office in person only. On days when the Gallery will be open until midnight, the added tickets will be sold only in the morning rush line. Visitors will be able to purchase up to two tickets per transaction and Members will be able to receive up to two tickets for free.
Want to know more about rush line tickets? Interested ticket-buyers can follow @agotoronto and the hashtag #AGOrush for updates. Each afternoon, we will announce on our Twitter account the number of rush tickets expected for the next morning and we'll provide an update when rush tickets are sold out for the day.
After Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors closes at the AGO on May 27 (and close it must), it travels to the Cleveland Museum of Art from July 7 – September 30 and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta from November 18, 2018 – February 17, 2019.
