Tunirrusiangit: Kenojuak Ashevak and Tim Pitsiulak
Our featured summer exhibition presents beautiful sketches and detailed drawings by Ashevak and Pitsiulak. They represent two generations of Inuit artists whose art is a powerful expression of their cultural heritage and engagement with everyday life at its deepest level.
J. S. McLean Centre for Indigenous & Canadian Art
We’re just about finished our renovation and reinstallation, and the new J. S. McLean Centre for Indigenous & Canadian Art will open for the Canada Day weekend. Incredible Indigenous, Inuit and Canadian artworks are presented in a dynamic new gallery environment highlighting the combined cultures and creativity found in this country we call Canada.
