COURSES FOR FAMILIES
Courses & Workshops – All year long!
Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you’ve studied art for years, the AGO has a course for you. The Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School offers a broad range of courses in a fun and supportive environment that includes access to our galleries for added inspiration.
Courses and workshops are offered for all ages, including babes and families, children and youth.

FAMILY TIME
Hands-On Centre
Wednesday – Friday 10:30 am – 3 pm
Saturday and Sunday 10:30 am – 4 pm
At The Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre, you'll always find artmaking and creative play activities for the whole family, from the youngest learner on up! Enjoy artmaking, constructing, reading, making new friends and exploring.
Admission to the Hands-On Centre is included in your General Admission ticket, or free unlimited admission with your family membership or Annual Pass.
Art Cart
Holiday Mondays, Saturdays & Sundays:
11:30 am - 2:30 pm in Walker Court
We invite you to stimulate your curiosity about art through the AGO Art Carts. A roving maker station, Art Carts offer unique and ever-changing multi-generational activities.
Learning Resources for Families
Discover art making and learning activities curated for young families that are inspired by artworks in our collection. Find the activity that suits your style and interest.
