Drawing from Life

In this course, students will learn how to visually interpret what they see and translate it back onto the page. Working from life, students will explore figure drawing techniques from clothed models, still life configurations, as well as find inspiration in the architecture of Galleria Italia, where the course will take place. Students will also travel through the galleries, drawing additional inspiration from a selection of artworks and artist’s techniques. This course provides foundational tools through observational drawing.
