Sculpture Explorations: Abstract Forms

Discover the expressive possibilities of abstract sculpture. In this class, you’ll explore how shape, movement, and material can work together to create imaginative threedimensional forms. Using a variety of mixed media such as wire, paper, and clay, Students will experiment with structure, balance, and texture while learning to think beyond representational art.  As part the class, students will visit the works of Ranbir Sidhu and Elizabeth Wyn Wood, offering realworld inspiration from two influential sculptors.  All skill levels are welcome.

Students are asked to bring their receipt (printed or digital) and meet in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.

All materials are provided. Please check back here 2 weeks prior to the start of the course to download a course syllabus.
