Curator’s Talk: What Makes a Rembrandt?
Join Painted Presence: Rembrandt and his Peers co-curators Adam Harris Levine and Suzanne van de Meerendonk in a conversation about Rembrandt van Rijn and the artists around him. Questions of how attribution determined, and what roles do provenance, scholarly opinion, subject matter and scientific analysis play in identifying an artist’s work will be addressed.
Adam Harris Levine is the AGO’s Associate Curator of European Art.
