Have you seen our major exhibition Impressionism in the Age of Industry: Monet, Pissarro and more yet? It's closing May 5, and trust us: you won’t want to miss the groundbreaking show the Toronto Star called a “phenomenal and enlightening exhibit that promises to change the way people see the Impressionists.”

The exhibition explores another side to the Impressionists, famous fr their lush landscapes but equally fascinated by the factories, steam trains and construction that changed the face of Paris forever. Featuring over 120 works, including masterpieces by Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro, Mary Cassatt, Maximilien Luce and many more, the exhibition also captures the transformation of the working class, the construction of the Eiffel Tower, as well as the dramatic expansions to the railway system.

To give visitors even more chances to see Impressionism in the Age of Industry: Monet, Pissarro and more before it closes on May 5, the exhibition will remain open from 10:30 am to 9 pm from May 1–4. To book timed-entry tickets, visit ago.ca.

If you loved the exhibition and want to bring its vibe home with you, make sure to visit the satellite shop at the end of the exhibition on Level 2 where you can pick up the hardcover exhibition catalogue, edited by the show’s curator, Dr. Caroline Shields as well as authentic French homewares and a Monet inspired cookbook.
