Sean Weisgerber is an artist based in Toronto. His work centres on the nexus of art and commerce with an interest in how art and labour are commodified. He has had recent solo exhibitions at Arsenal Contemporary (New York), Blouin Division (Montreal/Toronto) and Open Studio Contemporary Printmaking Centre (Toronto). He has had work included in recent group exhibitions at The Plumb (Toronto), The Foreman Gallery at Bishop's University (Sherbrooke), The New Gallery (Calgary) and Ace Art (Winnipeg). He recently published a zine with Nieves (Zurich), curated by Micah Lexier, and installed 3 new large-scale wall drawings at the Drake Hotel that are on view until 2025. He is represented by Blouin Division (Montreal/Toronto).
