Age Range Description
Ages 11-13

Bring your drawings to life in this animation course, where we’ll explore a range of animation techniques from old school to new. Create some of the earliest hand-drawn animation inventions like flip books and thaumatropes, experiment with stop-motion and Claymation, and dive into new technology with digital animation apps to create your own stories. 

This class is for beginners and returning students. The instructor will teach to each students' individual skill level.

 All materials are included.

Photography Explorations: Figure

Explore the beauty of the human form through photography. Students work both collaboratively and independently to learn about abstraction, lighting and various other photographic techniques. Students will also gain experience working with a model and visit the galleries to consider lighting and painterly techniques used by artists to create unique human representation. 

Students are required to bring their own DSLR cameras. While the course instructor will facilitate learning, they are not responsible for knowing the operation of each camera. 

Introduction to Photography

Introduction to Photography is a beginner-friendly course that immerses students in the art and science of photography. This course covers the fundamentals of camera operation, including manual settings, exposure, composition, and lighting techniques. Through practical assignments, students will learn how to capture compelling images while exploring various photographic styles such as portraiture, landscape, and still life.
