Photography Explorations: Figure
Explore the beauty of the human form through photography. Students work both collaboratively and independently to learn about abstraction, lighting and various other photographic techniques. Students will also gain experience working with a model and visit the galleries to consider lighting and painterly techniques used by artists to create unique human representation.
Students are required to bring their own DSLR cameras. While the course instructor will facilitate learning, they are not responsible for knowing the operation of each camera.
This class is suitable for those with basic photography skills. To get the most out of this course, we recommend taking Introduction to Photography first.
Students are asked to bring their receipt (printed or digital) and Meet in Seminar Room 3 located in the Weston Family Learning Centre for the start of the first class.
Please check back here 2 weeks prior to the start of the course to download a course syllabus and material list.
