Join us for weekly drop-in punking, whacking, waacking dance workshops with Iced Misto. Originating in LA’s LGBTQ+ club scene, Punking/Waacking gained fame on the iconic Soul Train. Dancers would channel characters through sharp hand and arm movements, striking poses, and weaving soulful footwork across the dance floor. It’s a celebration of expression, deeply braided with musicality and rhythmic interpretation.

Iced Misto (of Funky Facilitators, T.O. Hustle Sessions, and 2U4U) is a dedicated supporter of the Canadian street dance scene.  Based in Toronto, she has organized street and club events across the city since 2014, creating spaces for dancers to showcase their skills. Her passion extends to fostering community connections; her Instagram Guides point to battles, parties, and major street dance events across Canada.
