Daniel Arsham

Friday October 4, 2019
Jackman Hall, Art Gallery of Ontario

Join multidisciplinary artist, architect, and filmmaker Daniel Arsham in conversation with Ala Roushan about his work and large-scale installation at City Hall for Nuit Blanche Toronto 2019

Daniel Arsham works in sculpture, architecture, drawing and film to create ambiguous, in-between spaces, staging what he refers to as “future relics of the present.” His interest in fictional archaeology stems from childhood memories of the wreckage of Hurricane Andrew, which hit his Miami hometown in 1992. Arsham has exhibited exhibited in major museums around the globe.
