DIY Production Design: Costumes, Props and More with Insomniac Film Festival

Wednesdays, September 20 - October 25, 4 - 5:30 pm
The Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School

“How can I make my movie look great when I have zero dollars?!?” If that’s a question you’re asking yourself, come to DIY PRODUCTION DESIGN - a 6-week drop-in program that explores no-budget production design in film. Using a wide range of materials and formats, participants will create their own props, costumes, and sets with a focus on play, experimentation, and  following your heart! Wear your costume or prop to the Insomniac Meeting of the Monsters Gala on Friday Oct. 27th.

Founded in 2014, INSOMNIAC FILM FESTIVAL aims to celebrate works emerging from the lives and experiences of young Toronto artists. They curate films and film-related events that blur the lines between age, genre, and budget - reminding audiences of the creativity behind intelligent and powerful low-budget filmmaking.
