Do the Hustle
Learn the Hustle with T.O. Hustle Sessions and dance your way through New Year's Eve! The Hustle is a partner dance, set to disco music, created by Puerto Rican teenagers in South Bronx in the early 1970s. Sharing features with mambo, salsa and swing dance, the Hustle is meant to be dynamic and flashy, traditionally with a lead and a follow.
T.O. Hustle Sessions, founded in late 2014, has taught weekly dance classes, held workshops with guest teachers, hosted parties around the city and performed at various events.
The mission is simple: get everyone dancing with each other!
For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date.
