Don't Let Machines Take Over Your Mind: 3D Design + 3D Printing

Thursday, October 10 + November 21, 2019 4 - 6 pm
Weston Family Learning Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario

Join Steamlabs for this 10 week workshop that will introduce you to a variety of technology.  Each week, you will create a project utilizing a different type of technology like laser cutting, 3D printing, electronics, LED lights or coding. As you accumulate more skills week to week, put them all together to make your own original artistic technology creation.

Learn to use the basic Tinkercad 3D design software to create objects. After the session, we will print your creation and have it ready for pick up by next week’s workshop. The workshop on Thursday November 21st will be held in the Weston Family Learning Centre Seminar Room 2.

Steamlabs is an education innovation non-profit established in 2010 to ensure people understand and think critically about science and technology, have equitable access to it, and can use it to solve their personal challenges, improve their communities and make the world a better place.

Spaces limited to 20.
