Free After Three Tuesdays: Leather Patchwork

Want to create a leather patch for your jean jacket or learn how to patch your own worn out jeans? Using high quality leather scraps to patch and decorate your own clothing, local artist Anni Spadafora will teach you how to prepare leather for hand sewing projects. Leather provided!

Anni Spadafora is an interdisciplinary artist and performer based in Toronto. She is a member of the no-wave band, New Fries. Recent project and performance sites include Gardiner Museum (Toronto), Khyber Centre for the Arts (Halifax), Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto), and Sled Island (Calgary). Anni is also a hand weaver and was in residence at the Marshfield School of Weaving (Vermont) in Fall 2017.
