Friday, February 17 - Monday, February 20, 11 AM
Jackman Hall, Art Gallery of Ontario

(Germany 2020, 71 mins, German & Dari with English subtitles).

From New York-based filmmaker Shelly Silver comes an insightful tour of the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, Germany, as seen through the eyes of young girls age seven to 19. Moving from artwork to artwork, century to century, as these girls tell us what they see, the film makes visible how role models have changed over time and where art comes into it.

Co-presented by the Goethe-Institut, the German cultural centre in downtown Toronto, this film will run on a continuous loop and no advance tickets are required. Rich with episodic chapters, visitors are invited to drop in at any time and stay as long as they wish.

Presented by the Goethe-Institut in collaboration with the AGO
