Go D0ul@ Yourself!

Wednesday, April 13, 4 pm
Zoom

Doulas are care workers that help people through times of change. The practice of doula work dates to the prehistoric period, and after a lull in understanding and popularity, this work is once again becoming commonplace.

The past two years have brought on immense change for us all. We have an opportunity to doula ourselves and others in small ways as we wade through the uncertainty of everyday life.

Through cues that engage all the senses, we will explore questions like: What is a doula? How can I show up for, and doula, myself in times of change? How can I show up for and doula those around me? and more. Expect to leave this course with a toolkit of practices and cues for care to lean on during turbulent times. All are welcome. No equipment needed besides an open mind.

Jasmine Smikle (she/her) is a foodtech product manager, birth and postpartum doula, movement teacher, and home cook.
