Members' Preview: Anthropocene

September 25, 26 and 27
Art Gallery of Ontario

AGO Members are invited to join us at our exclusive Member preview for Anthropocene.

Be among the first to experience this major new contemporary art exhibition by world-renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky and multiple awarding-winning filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier.

Join us for our Pop-Up Art Studio on Wednesday, September 26

2 - 5 pm (drop-in by 4:30 pm)
Located in Walker Court

A tree that is common in one area may be completely absent in another. AGO walls and stairs display the beauty of Douglas-fir, a medium-size to extremely large evergreen. Join us in an exploration of texture and pattern rubbings and consider what a communal paper forest installation evokes in the context of our launch of the exhibition, Anthropocene. Facilitated by AGO artist-instructor Carol Matson. All materials provided, you supply the creativity.

FREE for Members and their guests.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date.
