Seniors Social: Shapes, Forms, Colours and Seasons of Love

Tuesday, February 13, 1 pm
Zoom

Make new artistic connections and spark conversations!. Join us for our Seniors Social: an engaging monthly workshop series for older adults. Dive into meaningful conversations weaved with art exploration and creation. At the AGO, we believe that engaging with art and expressing creativity enhances well-being. Join the conversation and let art be your guide!

Join us to celebrate love in all its forms! This month, we'll take a look at art through the ages and from across the globe that highlights love or passion in some way: romantic love, parental love, love found in community, forbidden love, enduring love, complicated love, even love for objects or certain activities. Inspired by the  symbolic material choices artists make in their depictions, in the workshop we will create our own unique valentines that pay homage to a person, a place, an object, a pet, or an activity close to our hearts.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs. For onsite visits, the AGO offers these supports for an accessible visit. Please contact us to make a request for these or other accessibility accommodations. Learn more about accessibility at the AGO.
