Stan Douglas Artist Talk
Join acclaimed Canadian artist Stan Douglas for a talk about his work and continued investigation of the image. Through photo, film and video installation, television, theatre, mobile applications and many other digital media technologies, Douglas delves into the recreation of moments in history at a cultural, social and political tipping point. Two of his works are currently on view in the exhibition Light Years: The Phil Lind Gift. In 2022, the artist represented Canada at the Venice Biennale and debuted a major video installation, ISDN (2022)—now on view at the AGO in The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century
