Steelpan with Suzette Vidale

Fridays, February 16 and 23, 7 - 8 pm
Walker Court, Art Gallery of Ontario

Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of steel pan music with Suzette Vidale, known for her live  performances that captivate audiences of all ages. Join her in Walker Court for a Caribbean-infused experience as she skillfully plays the iconic hammered metal pans. Originating from Trinidad and Tobago in the early 20th century, steel pans have evolved into a symbol of musical energy, resonating through the streets, festivals, and now cultural and educational institutions.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs.
