Teacher Workshop: Art and Language Arts

Saturday, January 24th, 2026, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Join us for a dynamic Teacher Workshop that celebrates the power of art and language arts. Start with a guided tour, featuring highlights from David Blackwood: Myth & Legend and different collection areas. Discover strategies to generate poetry, story, and more. Then make your own mixed-media concertina book, blending images and text. This workshop is perfect for those who teach Language, English, Writer's Craft, or engage English language learners, as well as Visual Arts teachers who want to spark a multidisciplinary arts practice. 

All art making supplies will be provided.
