City Explorations: Traveller's Sketchbook Intensive

Planning a vacation? Learn quick drawing and painting techniques in a range of media. Capture architectural or landscape details, street views and quick figurative sketching. Learn the art of the decorated page.

Instruction will take place in the Art Gallery of Ontario and in the downtown area for direct observation. Students are expected to bring the following supplies: 4" x 6" or 5" x 7" hardcover, coil-bound sketchbook, a small cardboard viewfinder or slide frame, Pigma Micron Pen, 01 or 03, a mechanical pencil, a small watercolour kit, a glue stick. A portable sitting stool is recommended.

Students are asked to print out a copy of their receipt and meet your instructor in the Community Gallery located in the AGO's Weston Family Learning Centre.
