Painting Explorations: Figure

Explore the beauty of the human form through painting. Students will work both collaboratively and independently as they learn about colour, lighting, and a variety of painting techniques. Students will practice observing a model and experiment with different ways of representing the figure on canvas. The class will also visit the galleries, including our special exhibition, Sunday Best, to study how artists use light, brushwork, and composition to create expressive and imaginative interpretations of the human form.

Students are asked to bring their receipt (printed or digital) and meet in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
