Painting Explorations: Landscapes
Immerse yourself in the world of landscape painting with our Painting Explorations: Landscapes course. Designed for both beginner and experienced artists, this class offers a journey into capturing atmosphere, light, movement, and the emotional resonance of the natural environment through paint.
Drawing inspiration from the AGO’s vast collection, including iconic works by the Group of Seven and Emily Carr, students will explore a range of approaches to interpreting land, sky, water, and light. Throughout the course, you’ll experiment with techniques that bring the landscape’s textures and colours to life. Whether you’re looking to build foundational skills or expand your creative practice, this course provides the tools, guidance, and inspiration to develop your own expressive style.
Students are asked to bring their receipt (printed or digital) and meet in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
Please check back here 2 weeks prior to the start of the course to download a course syllabus and material list.
