Calling all AGO Members! On September 10, the AGO will be open exclusively to Members from 5 to 9 pm. Enjoy the benefits of your AGO Membership and so much more during this special evening. If you’re not currently a Member, become one before September 5 to access this exclusive night, when the museum will be closed to the public.
All galleries will be open and waiting for you to spend some quality time. Be sure to see the three-dimensional figures in Valérie Blass: le parlement des invisibles, witness the colourful stories in Janet Kigusiuq, explore the layered experiences of identity in Sandra Brewster: Blur, and enter Yayoi Kusama’s compelling world in INFINITY MIRRORED ROOM – LET’S SURVIVE FOREVER.
For a bite to eat, we invite you to experience unique flavours at AGO Bistro where you can enjoy a special triple discount of 30% to kick off the Members’ Appreciation Week at the Bistro (September 10 to 15). Don’t miss Oyster Night at Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge from 5 to 8 pm, and visit Galleria Italia for a pop-up wine bar where you’ll receive complimentary tapas with your wine purchase. Coffee, tea and other beverages will also be available.
For those looking to get a little creative, there will be a Life Drawing Pop-Up in Walker Court between 5:30 and 8:30 inspired by Betty Goodwin: Moving Towards Fire.
