Field trips may be on pause but the AGO will continue to bring art education to students, teachers and caregivers during these uncertain times. This fall, the AGO introduced fully immersive virtual school programs available online – free of charge! We developed AGO’s school programs  for students from K-12, focused on wellness and art; all programs include a wellness activity and a mini-creative exercise.

The AGO invites students of all ages to participate in a robust program of three live sessions taught by Art Educators from Monday through Friday (15 sessions per week). Each program is specifically linked to provincial curriculum. Our Art Educators facilitate a thoughtful, engaging exploration of art in the AGO Collection through various themes. School programs at the AGO are here for you to inspire, imagine and create.

Interested to know what it all looks like? Join AGO Art Educator Laboni Islam as she leads students in the program, AGO Schools: Art and the Senses, with artwork by, Emily Carr and Rita Letendre

Registration for all of these programs is free of charge! Teachers, parents and caregivers are invited to register and share with one child or a classroom full of students. Visit the website to register and see a full schedule of upcoming programs.
