Wednesday, May 24, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Jackman Hall, Art Gallery of Ontario

Join architects Brian Porter, Principal at Two Row Architect, Donald Schmitt, Principal at Diamond Schmitt, and Sara Lopergolo, Partner at Selldorf Architects, in a conversation moderated by Stephan Jost, Michael and Sonja Koerner Director and CEO of the AGO, about the design for the Dani Reiss Modern and Contemporary Gallery.

Thanks to a monumental lead gift of $35-million from Dani Reiss, the AGO is launching an expansion project to significantly increase gallery space for its growing collection of modern and contemporary art. The Dani Reiss Modern and Contemporary Gallery will increase the museum’s gallery space by 40,000 square feet, with at least 13 new galleries across five floors -- increasing the AGO’s total space available to display art by 30%.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs. For onsite visits, the AGO offers these supports for an accessible visit. Please contact us to make a request for these or other accessibility accommodations.
