Join Georgiana Uhlyarik, Fredrik S. Eaton Curator of Canadian Art as she discusses a major work by prolific Canadian modernist, Bertram Brooker. This newly acquired painting, Snow Fugue (1930), reveals the artist’s desire to uncover nature’s essential forms, and represents the pivotal moment in Brooker’s career when he merged abstract and representation into his own distinctive style.
