Mami Kataoka has served as Chief Curator at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo since 2003, where she has curated, amongst many others, the exhibition Ai Weiwei: According to What? (2009) coming to the Art Gallery of Ontario in the summer of 2013. This talk is part of the Asia Contemporary Speaker Series, a partnership between the Canadian Art Foundation’s International Speaker Series and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada’s National Conversation on Asia and its sponsors.
