Join the AGO and the Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) as they collaborate on a series of conversations with writers and artists on boredom, distraction, escapism and dreaming. For our first conversation, bestselling author Ian Rankin joins Roland Gulliver, the Director of TIFA.

Ian Rankin is a #1 international bestselling author. Winner of an Edgar Award and the recipient of a Gold Dagger for fiction and the Chandler-Fulbright Award, he lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with his wife and their two sons.

An accomplished cultural leader, Roland Gulliver is Director of TIFA, following 12 years with the prestigious Edinburgh International Book Festival.
