Inner Space is a monthly web series co-curated by the Inner Space Youth Advisory and AGO staff; welcoming artists from across Canada to present personal studio tours. This month we meet artist Emerald Repard-Denniston, a visual artist based in Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam/Vancouver, and Tkaronto/Toronto. She is a multidisciplinary artist working mainly in contemporary figurative oil painting. Through her practice she plays around with topics that involve humour, cynicism, and detachment. Her work has been exhibited at Art Mur Gallery Montreal (2022), Bau-Xi Gallery Toronto (2022), and the OCADU's GradEx Show (2022) She has obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting with a minor in Art and Social Change from OCAD University.
