Saved by the Bell: Raffiki
Walking home from school? Studying? Taking a work break? Tune in, chill out and vibe to live sets by local youth DJs from our AGO Youth Community.
Join Raffiki on Friday, November 13, for an Afro-Fusion experience bringing dynamic Afro-rhythms together with popular songs.
This program is part of the partner series, AGO Live: Hello From The Other Side where we welcome partners from across the city to use the AGO as a site for their programs in an effort to revitalize the arts in our city.
The Art Gallery of Ontario is part of the network of large-scale institutions across North America and its partner organizations tend to be the same scale. However, the Gallery’s size is a function of growth, and nurturing cycle of art makers, art thinkers and art community builders often starts within. The AGO Youth Program has partnered with several community organizations over the years. Hello From The Other Side highlights these relationships, inviting DJs who are (past and new) community members to bring fresh sounds to our shared COVID-19 experience.
