Plein Air Watercolour

This four week en plein air course will meet in the lovely urban environment around the AGO and explore nearby locations with a paintbrush in hand.  Observe the urban environment and learn how to create an outdoor landscape that capture the flavour of your surroundings. Through guided exercises and creative projects, participants will experiment with different styles, from loose and expressive to more detailed and realistic.

This course is suitable for those with some watercolour painting experience. To get the most from this workshop, we suggest you take Introduction to Watercolour first. 

Please bring you receipt (printed or digital) and meet in the South Entrance.

This course runs rain or shine. Should inclement weather occur, the class will visit the gallery for additional inspiration. Students are welcome to bring a portable stool.
