AGO New Year's Eve Countdown

Thursday, December 31, 4 pm

It's our New Year's Eve Countdown, and everyone’s invited! Join amazing artists and friendly AGO families for this live virtual event, inspired by the new exhibition Studio 54: Night Magic.

We'll post details during the last week of the year about all the fun activities we have planned, so you, your friends and family can all get ready to count down to 2021 with the AGO.

You can make your very own disco ball!

Cook up a delicious NYE dessert dish!

Dress up for our #distancedressup project.

Learn the hustle, show off your moves in an online dance party, and end with an eye-popping digital art countdown to the New Year!

DJ Iced Misto @icedmisto will spin the tunes. Artist Diana VanderMuelen will count us down, while art curators, art instructors and more help us celebrate! Don't miss it!

Wednesday, December 16, 11 am

We’ll launch our new Distance Dress-Up project with curator Geneviève Wallen, who offers a personalized take on playing dress-up at home during COVID-19. Everyone is invited to share their distance dress-up look with us on AGO Youth Instagram using #distancedressup. Learn more.
