The Good Work Art Market

Saturday, November 19, Noon - 5 PM
Weston Family Learning Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario

Join us in celebrating the amazing work of Toronto’s accessible arts organizations and their talented creators at the Good Work Art Market. Dozens of creators will showcase and sell their unique works. Learn how these non-profits are using art to support people in finding purpose, pride, passion, joy and healing. Participating artists keep 100% of their revenue.

The Good Work Art Market is presented by the YWCA Toronto’s Inspirations Studio, in proud partnership with Workman Arts, SKETCH, Sistering, Art Heart, Creative Works Studio, Youth Arcade Studio, St. Stephen’s, The Neighbourhood Group.

YWCA Toronto’s Inspirations Studio is a low-barrier ceramics program for women and gender-diverse people who’ve experienced marginalization. The Studio’s core mission is to contribute to improving women’s lives through the making and selling of pottery. Through creative, therapeutic and skill-building work, women gain self-confidence and stability while connecting to community, gaining a source of supplemental income and finding a new way to engage with the world as makers. Art—and clay in particular—can bring change and offer healing, while giving people purpose, pride, passion and joy. Join us to reduce stigma and support change, one pot at a time!

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs. For onsite visits, the AGO offers these supports for an accessible visit. Please contact us to make a request for these or other accessibility accommodations.
