A Visual Memorial
We all want to remember and honour the thousands of children who never returned home from the Residential School System and all those who suffered trauma within its walls and beyond.
Children’s shoes have become a powerful symbol. Donations of shoes will be gratefully accepted on the steps of the AGO, and used to build a visual memorial.
Shoes may be dropped off on the front steps of the AGO (317 Dundas St. West) at any time between now and June 20 at 11:59 pm.
