Directed by Robert Aldrich 1962, 2h, 34 min.

Inspired by the dramatic narratives in Early Rubens, we bring you the biggest, best, endless battle and tunic-filled, pre-CGI epics from across the ages.

This sprawling, critically panned 1962 Biblical epic features Stewart Granger as the distinguished, solemn and sincere figure of Lot and Stanley Baker, as the treacherous Prince of Sodom. Rosanna Podesta and Claudia Mori play the shadowy roles of Lot’s daughters. Filmed in Italy and Morocco with an all-star European cast, it is a spectacular and arresting viewing experience, and one of the more interesting of the costume epics.
