Life Drawing
Life Drawing is a course focused on the study and rendering of the human form. Students will work directly from live models to develop their observational and drawing skills, learning to capture the anatomy, movement, and expressions of the body. The course will explore various techniques and mediums, including charcoal, pencil, and ink, while emphasizing proportion, gesture, and contour. Through practice and guided critiques, students will gain confidence in depicting the figure with accuracy and fluidity, as well as experiment with personal styles.
This drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Meet in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
