Final Day Members’ Access for Joyce Wieland: Heart On

Experience highlights from Joyce Wieland: Heart On through a guided sketching tour of the exhibition (6-9 pm)

On the final night of our Members’ Access for our newest exhibition, join us for an evening of relaxed sketching while touring the bold, witty, and iconic work of Joyce Wieland. Explore her playful take on gender, ecology, and identity as you sketch in response to the art around you. Sketchpads and pencil will be provided - just bring your curiosity.  Sketching tours will be 30 minutes long, offered at 6pm, 7pm and 8 pm.

Art Kit Demos in the Shop (6-9 pm)

Join local artisan Diana Watters for a guided “hands-on” demo of her needlepoint keyring kit.  Members will have the opportunity to use their Member discount to purchase a kit to participate and create in the Shop, or they can watch and take home a kit for further creative enjoyment. 

Bistro:  Enjoy a double Member Discount of 20% at the AGO Bistro (5-9 pm):

The Bistro will be open for a la carte dining during our Members Night.  The extra discount replaces the standard 10% discount for AGO Members. The usual restrictions and exclusions apply for the Member discount.

AGO125 Performance:  Amanda Roberts as Cher (7-830 pm):

Celebrate AGO 125 with a groovy performance in Walker Court by local drag legend Amanda Roberts as Cher.  AGO Members will have exclusive Member reserved seating for this exciting performance

Celebrate AGO 125: Guided Conversation on the Iconic 125 collection: 

Join an AGO art educator for a conversational tour exploring some of the most iconic works in our collection. Discover highlights from the curated Iconic 125 list on view throughout the museum and enjoy fun facts, surprising stories, and fresh perspectives on the artists and their work. Highlight tours will be 30 minutes long, offered at 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
