Highlights of the Evening

Opening Night Exclusive Member Access: David Blackwood: Myth & Legend

• Be among the first to explore this expansive retrospective of over 80 drawings, prints, proofs, copperplates, and archival treasures.
• Join a 30-minute guided tour in the exhibition at 6 pm, 7 pm, or 8 pm with an AGO Art Educator, tracing Blackwood’s career from his student days to his final works.

Curator Talk with Special Guest: Marvin Gelber Print & Drawing Study Centre. (7-8 pm)

• Alexa Greist, Associate Curator & R. Fraser Elliott Chair, Prints and Drawings, joins conceptual artist Jerry Ropson for a lively conversation. Together, they’ll share rarely seen works from the AGO vaults and fresh perspectives on David Blackwood: Myth & Legend. Registration opens at 6 pm. Space is limited so register early.

Drop-in Artmaking in Walker Court (6–9 pm)

• Celebrate Blackwood’s creative spirit with hands-on artmaking

Cocktail Night in the Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge: (5–9 pm)
