Want to ignite your creativity and learn new skills? You can do that at the AGO for free! Yep, zero dollars required. Our FREE After Three program offers exciting courses and workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays this fall for free for visitors ages 14 to 25.

Get inspired by courses like silkscreening, costume-making, breakdancing and more. The courses and workshops are led by amazing local artists like Paddy Leung, Alicia Nauta and Kendra Yee. And we’ve got dancers from Unity Charity, a charity that uses hip hop to improve young people’s lives.

Here are some of our exciting courses you won’t want to miss this season.

Tie-Dyeing
The tie-dye trend isn’t going away anytime soon. Get your white T out and join us on October 2, from 4 to 6 pm, for tie-dyeing fun. You’ll learn tie-dying techniques and create a one-of-a-kind tie-dye T-shirt to brighten up your wardrobe.

Hip Hop Dancing
Pop, lock and groove with dancers Caldeira and Catalyst from Unity Charity at this weekly drop-in hip hop dance workshop. Held on Wednesdays from October 3 to December 5, this workshop invites young people to come together and learn the art of hip hop dance. New to hip hop? Don’t worry – the workshop is open to all levels of experience, so you’ll be moving and grooving in no time.

Pop Art Snack Attack
Attack of the giant snacks! In this two-session course, you’ll create a supersized version of your favourite snack. In the first session (Tuesday, October 9 from 4 to 6 pm), you’ll design and construct a papier-mâché work. In session two (Tuesday, October 16 from 4 to 6 pm), you’ll paint your masterpiece in a Pop Art style.

Halloween Runway
Unsure what to wear this Halloween? Get your D.I.Y. on this October 30 from 4 to 6 pm and create the costume of your nightmares or dreams. At this Halloween-themed workshop, you’ll design and construct an original costume and then strut your stuff in your design at our second Annual Halloween Runway Show. Work it!

Paper Marbling
Ever wondered how they get those beautiful psychedelic designs on marbled paper? Solve that mystery by joining us Tuesday, November 20, from 4 to 6 pm. You’ll make and take home your own marbled paper.
